Once you’ve got your business up and running, you have to maintain it and make sure it’s only getting more efficient. Just like a website needs regular maintenance, you have to make sure your business strategy is still relevant to this day and age.

Your online presence is crucial to finding new opportunities, customers and loyal connections for your business. Using the right social media management tools will make all the difference when it comes to being hands-on with your social media, without really having to be hands-on all the time.
You can use Facebook’s publishing tool or Creator Studio to schedule and publish multiple posts, manage and engage with your audience and improve your customer success.
Something we do every first week of the month is creating a content plan that outlines all the captions and designs for our social media posts.
You have to be consistent with your posting and engagement so that potential customers know that your business is active and credible. Post at least one to 3 times a week and try to provide content that is relatable and useful to your followers. Remember to refer to your content pillars when creating your content, we’ve found that it reduces our content creation time by almost 50%!
We often put a lot of energy into getting customers but make sure you’re putting the same energy into retaining them! Reach out to them frequently during their sales journey and make sure you are providing dedicated customer service to all your customers. You can’t create a lasting loyal relationship with your customers if you impose your busy schedule on them. This does NOT mean you have to be available at their every beck and call. You are entitled to a break too! Make sure you communicate this clearly with your clients before signing a contract or state it clearly on your website. This way they know that you aren’t ignoring them on the weekends when you’re posting about your beach getaways on social media!
In Part 1, we talked about hiring and retaining the right employees, how do you make sure they work efficiently? You can’t be everywhere at once, and there might be things that you need to sign off on before it goes to your clients. How do you diagnose and remove the roadblocks?
The best way is to create ways for them to provide feedback. You can do this by:
Identify areas that would benefit from automation and implement as many time-saving strategies as possible. These can help improve performance and achieve business success.
Sometimes it might feel like you’ve been putting in hours and hours of your time, and hundreds of dollars into your business. Only for it to not go anywhere. It isn’t growing as fast as you want it to and you’re having trouble keeping up.
Take a step back. If you’re struggling to create social media content for 5 days of the week, and don’t see a return on the investment you’re making. Then maybe cut it down to 3 days a week instead. Your business might not benefit from social media marketing and that’s okay. Email marketing or SEO might be better for your business, so shift your focus onto that and measure its success.
Remember that there’s no formula to exponential growth. Your business is unique and what works for everyone else might not work for you. Take your time to figure it out for yourself. Sustainable growth is always the focus.
